Based in The Hague, I create colorful art and handmade homeware designed to bring warmth and joy into everyday life. I’ve always been drawn to color, texture, and the feeling of coziness, and I try to bring that same feeling into everything I make.

Creating has been a part of my life from a young age. As a child, I loved painting and spending time behind the sewing machine. At 12, I launched Janniek Studio to sell handmade cushions and quilts at flea markets and to friends. Fifteen years later, I’ve chosen to return to that passion with Janni, continuing to make one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate joyful living, coziness and spaces that just feel good to be in.
